Here is some Pellon I bought at Joanns on BF. My Bow Tuck pattern calls for Pellon 98F Fusuble Fleece. What do I have? I don't see any # on it.
TIA |
for $1 a yd you didn't get much for sure.
987 has the number on the bolt and the cheapest I've seen it 5-6 $ yd what you have is for a very lightweight job sorry |
My bow tuck calls for 987F fusable fleece. I couldn't find it so used 973F. Yours looks like 44F but I don't know for sure.

What you have is a light weight fusible interfacing. I think the Bow tucks calls for a fusible fleece.
|
Fusible fleece is almost like a lightweight batting that has fusible on one side only - the other side is a lightweight fleece.
|
Maybe you could search for Pellon site and put the item no. in for a search? Have never seen it without a number.

without seeing it better, i guess you could use it like Eleanor Burns does. she makes sunbonnet sues and flowers and more by tracing the design on the non bumpy/fusible side and laying it on the right side of the fabric, stitching on the lines. and then turning, making a slit in the fusible if necessary to turn. then fusing to background fabric and stitching down permantely.

I use shape flex along with the fuseable fleece. It gives it a better shape to it, but I also use prequilted fabric for the outside of the purse and it wiorks realy well for me. fuseable fleece is expensive and $7. a yard is a bleep. So I try to use a 40% or a 50% coupon to buy it and that helps a lot. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
