Occasionally one still hears of them...I believe there is a Ben Franklin in the little town of Sheldon, Iowa, also. It's about an hour from where I live.

We use to have a Ben Franklin years ago. I miss that store. Was about the only store I could afford to buy things from back then. A JoAnns opened up in its place probably about 15 years ago.
