I took drafting and the bottom rail on the right is off but I wouldn't worry about it. I think you did an awesome job bring the picture into the quilting world.

Bree, you are right about the thatch. It should be more uneven. Also the shading of the poles is a great idea. After all I took a lot of care in creating the colors of the ocean and sky. It only makes sense not to have the rails and posts come out with more shading too.

If you are going to add drinks on the rail, I suggest including the top of the chair that is in your photo. This brings the visitor into the picture.

I think that I would bring down the corner joint just a bit. But over all I love what you have done.
