Piece Goods Fabric store

Anyone remember the Piece good fabric store, I lived near Philadelphia in the 1960'-1970's. ??

There was one down in Richmond, VA back in the day. Closed in mid-'80s, I think. I can remember getting some real bargains before Joann's replaced them.

There were 3 or 4 of them in Charlotte, NC and they were always busy. They were my 'go to' shops often.

I live in the Philly area, and I loved going to that store, wish they would bring them back!

They were great stores, my neighbor was the owner of at least the local ones here in Utah. She closed them when she was in her late 70's

I spent a lot of time in the one in Hopewell, VA. Worked there part-time too.
