Goddess, try this. Draw a heart the shape of one leaf of the clover you want. Now draw a line from the point of the heart up through the center and out the top at the place where it dips. Extend the line and use it as the diagonal of a square, making sure you have the square big enough to have the heart floating in it. Make three more copies and put them together with their points in the center. You'll have to play with redrawing the points to make them meet while keeping the leaves separate. Got it?
Now take one square, cut on the diagonal line and cut out the half-heart. These are your templates. Add the seam allowance and piece it as you would any other curve. It's big and shallow, so it will be quite easy. Then sew the two halves together, then the four blocks. Should make you a four leaf clover. Does that make sense?
