I have a pattern to make one of those, but it's not called a pin cushion. However a few years ago JoannFabrics sold pin cushion ones like that.

Yep, I bought one, and I use it all the time. I make a copy of the cutting instructions or whatever I like to have with in view, and I pin it to the form. It is tall enough to hold it right there where I can see it.

That's a bit of a challenge for me considering my limited space. I like oldswimmers' suggestion for using it to pin up instructions if needed. At this time I can not justify this expense and will have to depend on my magnetic pin catcher that also works as a paper-weight for holding my patterns.

I wouldn't want it. It would be tipping over on me and I am not very patient... When I want a pin I don't want to have to pick the pin stand up every time.

I think it is darling! I have a pattern for making one and some day I hope to get around to it, if you can afford it I say go for it, would look cute in any sewing room! :-)

It does look cool. Not sure it would be very functional though. But that doesn't really matter, if you like it. LOL!
