Somebody needs to pinch me....my DH just called to let me know he was headed home from the doctor. He was in the parking lot at JoAnn's and wondered what I wanted! WHAT? We live and hour from there so it's a treat when I get to go and he knows it! I picked out a 12 1/2 " square up ruler...he said "what else" so I chose a 6 1/2" square up ruler...he said "what else"? After I picked my teeth up off the floor I sent him to the batting and he picked out a queen size per my instructions! WOW, maybe I'm still asleep or he has been blinded by all the snow! How lucky am I ? He didn't even have coupons!

He must have gotten really good news from the Doctor to perk him up so! good for you, too. give him a big hug (())

My DH won't even go into Joann's with me when we're out together ... even when I REALLY DO just need a few items and don't have to wait to get fabric cut. He says he feels like a "crazed woman" in there. lol. He would never, ever go in alone. You've got a keeper who respects your obsession.

Yes I do...he was in Knoxville. He just called and is almost home so I'm super excited! My birthday is in February so maybe this is an early gift. Who cares???

To get me to go for a motorcycle ride with him my hubby always checks to see if there is a quilt shop on the route. (These are 1/2 day or more rides) He is safe as there is only so much room on his bike for me and fabric. But when I do go I always come home with something!!

Okay...we used to ride too and I had a backpack! You won't believe what will fit in those things. It was great when he bought the super duper bike that had saddle bags! I am one creative packer!

I asked DH to stop by Hancock's to buy a new pair of Pinking shears for me. I was too busy to go. He came home with three pair. He said he didn't know what color I wanted the handles (before cell phones) He bought a Fiskars orange handle, Gingher, silver metal handles, and one brand with black handles. He said the employee said I could bring back the pairs I didn't want. I kept them all. I smile every time I see them in my sewing room.

I said golf clubs because that was always a sore spot between us. Every few years my husband would say he needed new golf clubs; so every time I told him if he got new golf clubs I got a new sewing machine. He never had a mistress, unless you could call golf his mistress. But he always got very "nice" when he was up to something. :roll: :lol:
