you didn't say if this was for a child or an adult....my teenage grand daughter loved her x's and o's quilt for her room

I love nuetral cream walls with light furniture! I also have neutral walls which means I can change the color of tthe bedroom when ever! So you can keep making quilts in all colors and put them on the bed often depending on your mood! this color combo sounds great!!!!!

Me too. I've always tended to go for neutrals, as my house is small and I think a consistent and plain colour scheme works best. I've now lightened my paint choices even more, abandoning magnolia for lighter creams, am beginning to take a paint brush and white paint to some of the darker furniture and am gradually replacing my curtains with plain cream ones. This room is the first one I've finished and I'm thrilled with it. The pink idea came from a cushion that has strawberries on it - I thought the colour of the fruit and its yellow-green leaves looked wonderful in the plain setting. As you say, when and if I get bored with pink, it'll be so easy to go blue or green or purple or whatever.

It's for me, a 60 year old not-quite-grown-up-yet. I love vibrant pinks but NOT little girl ones!

Charisma did a Focus Pocus.......that would look stunning in the shades you mentioned. She has a pic posted on the board.

How about find a fabulous large print in your colors and make your own four patch posy, or a OBW?

The bright pinks will be a punch all right! and a touch of lime will add color contrast/compliments. I do think you'll need an occasional "light pink" to add to the values (and the cream does too, but it's not a color, per say.) Darks AND lights as well as most mediums? I believe "they" suggest 50% med. and 25% dark and 25% light over all the quilt. Your lime counts too. Good luck and please post a pic when finished! It should be lovely!
