I got mine at Joanns. I use it when I make something out of flannel or something that will ravel alot. I do like it but I don't use it a lot. I thing you could use it on anyting you would anyother rotery cutter.

I have an Olfa rotary cutter and you can buy pinking-type blades. They're expensive, so I waited til I had a 40% off coupon from Joanne's.

I bought one at JoAnn's with a 40% off coupon to justify only using it to trim edges before washing my fabric. It does seem to help with lessening the amount of raveling (sp).

I bought one thinking that it would be easier to use than my pinking shears for cutting around the curves of arm holes, necks, and crotch when cutting out the pattern. By doing so, I thought that I could eliminate the trimming step after sewing the curved seam. I found that I still need to cut the pattern using the straight rotary but I do use the pinking one for the trimming. It is easier to use that the pinking shears. I do not use the pinking rotary for quilting.

My DD bought the pinking and wavy bladed cutter. We have used it some. It was used on paper first, so it isn't really sharp for the fabric. never thought to use it for the appliques, that makes sense..duh. :)

I have one and I love it.I get my blades from scissorman.usa..I use it to cutting out my squares and trimming..

I have both the pinking and the wavy cutter that I got as part of a Fiskars package deal years ago. I mainly use them for crafts, especially if I have put my pinking scissors in a "safe place". It does cut down on raveling, especially with clothing, doll clothes, etc.

I use mine a lot as a decorative edge on fleece for jackets I make for boys, I use the wave cutter on jackets I make for girls. I also use both on fleece rag blankets as a decorative edge.

I also use mine for pinking before washing and also when I am sewing dresses I will pink some of the the edges.
