Do they make a smaller version of these? I have the 8 1/2" pair but would like a smaller more easier to use set.

I have never seen any smaller. you might look on line at the ginger co and see.

is it possible to use the rotary pinking blade instead?
have you oiled them? i have my grandmas..they are a bite to use.. |

I have looked and looked and have never found them. I too would love to have a smaller version.....say half that size. I have looked everywhere online...maybe someone with far better searching skills than I would be able to find them. :D |

Thanks Watterstide.....very interesting. Did you see the comment almost to the bottom of the page where a lady in 2009 said she missed the bid on a pair of 5 inch ones on Ebay from Australia? So maybe they are out there somewhere. You'd think in this day and age with all they do they could figure out a way to make them. But thanks for the interesting article.
