I just found a new product--Pinmoors. If you pin baste your quilts for machine quilting this little product is amazing. I just basted my first one with them and love them. No more closing safety pins. When quilting a quick pull and out the pinmoor comes. Wow, can you tell I am excited about this? The web site for this is www.Pinmoor.com No affiliation with this company, just a very happy customer.

I use them too. Love them.
I cut mine in half and push the pin in from the side. Works great and I get twice as many. Here's a thread with a pic I posted (scroll down about 8 or 9 messages) a few months back. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-83532-1.htm |
Just checked out their website. Those look very cool and are going on my "another thing to spend money on" list:)
Thanks for the tip. |

I actually saw this in my local Walmart about a month ago. Thought it was a neat idea. Keeps from getting those "finger pricks"!!

I have heard of them, but never tried them. Sorry no help!

I have them, bought 50, one day DH saw them on sale and surprised me with a 100 more. I used them for the first time. Made a queen sized quilt, with a 108 sized backing. It was a little cumbersome doing it on my bed, but, as for the pinmoors. Just love them
