I just found a new product--Pinmoors. If you pin baste your quilts for machine quilting this little product is amazing. I just basted my first one with them and love them. No more closing safety pins. When quilting a quick pull and out the pinmoor comes. Wow, can you tell I am excited about this? The web site for this is www.Pinmoor.com No affiliation with this company, just a very happy customer.

I use them too. Love them.
I cut mine in half and push the pin in from the side. Works great and I get twice as many.
Here's a thread with a pic I posted (scroll down about 8 or 9 messages) a few months back.

Just checked out their website. Those look very cool and are going on my "another thing to spend money on" list:)
Thanks for the tip.

I actually saw this in my local Walmart about a month ago. Thought it was a neat idea. Keeps from getting those "finger pricks"!!

If you mean the rubbery type yes. The foam type works too but not as well. (They get knocked off easily.....at least in my house...lol)

I have them, bought 50, one day DH saw them on sale and surprised me with a 100 more. I used them for the first time. Made a queen sized quilt, with a 108 sized backing. It was a little cumbersome doing it on my bed, but, as for the pinmoors. Just love them
