I have a beautiful enamel pincushion I got years ago in Paducah that I never used. Finally asked myself what I was waiting for. So now it's being used and loved. It has kittens on it. I remember it was expensive and that's why I didn't use it. Silly I know!

Same here, but I have no idea how I get them! Last pins I bought were a couple years ago and they are the forked pins which I don't use much. Pins are kind of like scraps, they repopulate overnight!

Yepper, pins everywhere. In old sewing boxes, A newer box sitting on my cutting table, pin cushions and in sewing machine drawers. All colors shape and sizes. Longer and shorter. Pins I had no idea I had. Crazy how there are more pins than I ever though of.

My best pins won't stick to a magnetic holder. They are stainless and excellent quality. I have had them for years. I have lots of containers of pins of all kinds. I like the Magic pins. I can iron over them. I use the inexpensive round yellow headed pins on my design wall. I use the flower head pins for paper piecing, funny only need a couple for that and I have hundreds. LOL

Yes I have many pins. The DGD's gifted me with the yellow numbered pins last Christmas and they have already been well used. I prefer the very very fine silk pins for piecing. I keep an empty parmesan cheese container by my machine and try to discard bent and/or dull pins as I come across them.

I bought flat flower head pins but they’re weak and bend. I have long pins (maybe corsage pins ?) for design wall. The rest are yellow head pins in several pin cushions upstairs and down.
