Okay, here are some pics for you guys. What you see around the edge is the untrimmed batting. I will roll the backing to the front and miter the corners.

I like your quilting but wasn't it hard to keep stopping and starting for each square? Just wondering if it was a lot of work?

Why do you think I just ordered a long arm quilting machine?!?! I wanted a small amount of quilting on it to keep it soft ( I have poly batting in it). I usually enjoy quilting on the embroidery machine but this is the biggest I have ever tried to do on it. I also stitched in the ditch around the squares. It is time consuming rehooping each square, but I have it down to a science. I use double sided tape on the hoop top, stick it down where I want it, then put it all in the bottom part. Works well that way.

I have finished 72 pinwheels (The picture was taken of 71 pinwheels). But want the finished quilt to be bigger. The pinwheel blocks will be 5 inches when finished. I am looking for suggestions to add size without just adding borders. Something other then pinwheels. Thanks for any suggestions.

That came out super!
I'll have to try your hooping idea someday!

Those are pretty!
No borders and I guess no sashing.
Well I have seen quilts with the snowball block alternating with different blocks. Maybe snowballs around the edges?
Maybe some embroidery designs or applique around the edges on blocks?
I'll have to think some more!
Congratulations on getting them done.
