I believe it is all how you think. I may be kicked out also, but I do believe you can have too much stuff. For me, if I have fabric falling off the shelves and patterns stacked and piled I get to focused on the mess.

Nope, not alone! Wish I could destash, but I would only wind up filling it back up in no time. Now I am a little more selective in my purchasing...and really, really try not to buy another pattern, but that doesn't work either. There is so much to love in every aspect of quilting that you can't help overstocking:-)Did I hear Hello my name is????

I feel that way about my patterns, Am I really going to use them all in my lifetime
I don't have enough fabric to worry about that I just get fabric for patterns in mind |
I think most of us have the same problem.
|
You are not alone, the more I see the I want,I wont live long
enough, to use all my fabric and patterns. so just enjoy it, for as long as it goes. |
We will keep your secret safe.

What a GREAT idea!!!!! I have so much fabric and so many patterns - now all I have to do is make a DECISION about which pattern to use with which fabric.... It will take me some time, but "kitting" a few up will make a HUGE difference for my peace of mind!! Of course I'll have to buy more fabric to fill in the holes- oh darn! Thank you for the idea!

--I'm still moving into a new place and the only room that is unpacked and 90% set-up is the new sewing room.Hey its only because I needed to empty the totes so I could fill them with more stuff [fabrics] Thats my story

If you have to ask the question "....too much fabric...?" then I suspect you already know the answer - OF COURSE NOT, SILLY!!!
What you do have is a lack of organization. Work on that, one pile at a time until you get it all under control, OR continue to work in the "mess. :>) |
Heck no if we threw you outta the club for that one (too many fabrics and patterns) we wouldn't have any members left in the club. lol.
