The cream-based green/turquoise/orange, the yellow flowered and the cream-based orange/peach print could be rearranged so that there is more contrast in colors. I don't like random at all, it doesn'tseem to have any rhyme or reason. But either of the last two are really good.

To get truly random - which I like the best, BTW! - put all triangles in a big paper bag, toss them around REAL good, stir em up and start pulling them out one by one. THAT will be your layout..... of course, there are always a few that don't want to "play fair" and you'll have to put them where YOU want them.... lol !!! It is gonna be beautiful whatever you do!

I am new and I see that the majority like the random but I have to go with the diamond layout. it has visual pop! any way you set it though it is going to be beautiful

First of all, you have a very pretty quilt! I like the third picture best, with the diamond and triangles, and I guess I am agreeing with your husband when I say the light floral print seems out of place in the quilt..........just being honest here, but I love your colors and pattern.

Definitely RANDOM. Those four light color diamonds blend better. Love the quilt. Post when completed please.

LOL, I've done that before, and more than one color will end up with a twin no matter how random you'd like to be. I'd go for the paper bag and then make a few adjustments. |

I agree with everyone else, though - whatever you choose will look lovely. Alison PS I'm guessing that by this time you have more time invested in rearranging the blocks in different layouts than in actual construction. *snort* That happens to me, too! |
Diamond grouping layout but I would put the dark orange in the middle and build around it!

Personally, I like the random best. The one that is in the triangles makes me thing of those 'radioactive' signs on the sides of shipping containers.
