I use Printed Treasures to make all my labels. Best way to remove the backing paper is to score a line across the back using a pin. Use the pin to lift a small area so you can then grab the paper and slowly peel toward the edges. Then use a warm iron to set the ink.

Never use Printed Treasures for this very reason. Pressing is worse than not pressing. I use EQ printable sheets (cotton Lawn the best). Never have had a problem with them.

I use my inkjet printer on all the labels, then soak in my kitchen sink in warm water, remove one sheet from the water, lay it face down, and rub off the paper, the ink will not come off at all, and remains intact for all time. The only time I press the sheets is to turn over the sides that do not go under the binding. I do a lot of memory quilts for friends whom have lost their spouse, and the pictures I include in those quilts are still as good as the day I printed them, after a few washings.[ATTACH=CONFIG]620888[/ATTACH]This one I am currently working on. Included fabrics from some of her husbands shirts that she liked.

Sometimes scratching it a little with a pin helps. It's frustrating I know.

I guess I'm glad it's not just me having trouble with this product. Dry iron, steam iron, soaking - none of it working to remove the paper backing and I am making a mess. To be fair, I did buy these sheets a while ago, but way too much time (and printer ink) wasted on a simple project. Back to the drawing board.
