I really had trouble with that also but when I finally mastered it I must have made 6 or 7 quilts right off because it turned out I was trying to make it so much more difficult than it really was. Wish I could show you.

I always tend to want to learn to do the "hard" stuff way before I learn the basics. It makes life pretty frustrating, but I learn quickly that way! I love to FMQ..I'm not great, but I am getting better. Keep practicing and maybe you should make up a few cardboard replicas of your machine for window tossing... :lol:
