Ours in town charges .015 per square in. So I'm working on a 110x110 so that's 12100 x .015= $181.50 to have it quilted. Hope that helps

'Im in Texas and this is what I charge for all over. .02. Batting is included in this price. All I need from customers is the quilt top and the prepared backing. I can do the binding, but it's not my preference. I generally charge a flat $25 to do the binding.

That's a real good price for doing the binding. It very hard on the hands. Once I start I can count on my hands hurting for about a week. Of course, that's after 3-4 days of doing the binding. Getting old sucks.

Oh no! Don't be scared of the binding! It's quite simple, actually! The time-consuming thing about it is doing the hand-sewing on the back, but that's very relaxing ... a good thing to do while watching TV. Plus, there is lots and lots of online help with how to do mitered corners, which is nothing to be scared of!

I would check around with local quilters. Prices vary soooo much across the states.....
