I asked, and am I glad I did! That is really, really nice! I want to make some! I think that is a cathedral window?? Sorry, really new to quilting. Was it hard? Could an idiot like me who can barely sew a straight line do it?? Virg

What a good idea for an ornament, I haven't tried that one yet. I put up 10 trees inside at christmas.

Of course you can do it -- like eating an elephant -- one stitch at a time. Here's one good youtube video to show the folding process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWQJG4GsAls You can see that with some cutting and folding prep work that this would be a good take along hand sewing project to toss into your handbag for when you get stuck having to kill some time somewhere. You can easily vary the size by starting with different size squares. Just use a piece of paper and follow the folding process to see if the final square will end up being the size you desire.
