Here it is. Nothing fancy, but effective. Someone requested a photo of this. I can't figure out how to post a photo to a private message, so here it is for all to see. (Can't figure out why this one decided to display sideways when all the others downloaded to the computer right side up. Gotta love those electrons.)

That's a lovely idea. I like it, and I can see it on a huge Christmas tree with lots of other hand made ornaments.

Good job and a clever idea.

What a good idea for an ornament, I haven't tried that one yet. I put up 10 trees inside at christmas.

Of course you can do it -- like eating an elephant -- one stitch at a time. Here's one good youtube video to show the folding process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWQJG4GsAls You can see that with some cutting and folding prep work that this would be a good take along hand sewing project to toss into your handbag for when you get stuck having to kill some time somewhere. You can easily vary the size by starting with different size squares. Just use a piece of paper and follow the folding process to see if the final square will end up being the size you desire.
