Ha! I've had the same thing happen with my Singer. The so-called repair people always want to blame the thread... but I agree with Skyqueen... these are expensive machines, they should be able to CUT THREAD. Otherwise, just stop giving us a thread cutter... we lived without them for years!

I have a Babyloc Jane w/thread cutter, it always works great. I use it but, could live without it.
