Wouldn't the author of that article roll over in their grave if they walked in on some of us when we are sewing...LOL Blessings

Are you girls telling me that you don't sew in your best party dress, garter belt and silk stockings and your best pair of stilletos like I do?????? I sew in my favorite woobies and now that it's cold outside fuzzie slippers. (woobies=sweat pants and a really big non-matching sweatshirt.) LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL I really do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So does that mean I shouldn't be sewing in my PJ's with my hair uncombed at 2 in the afternoon?

I'm surprised it didn't mention a nasal wash. That's right ladies, most circa 1900 guides for women said that you weren't really clean until you've rinsed out your nasal cavities as well.

LOL too funny Ladies being a male quilter I quilt in bare feet in the summer, shorts A(shirt optional) winter time can find me in slippers an old soft pair of pj's hair a mess face not shaven.. in otherwords a day at home sewing my quilts not wanting to be bothered by the outside world

Comfort is the way to go if in the sewing room. I do like to have the space neat and organized when I work, I usually don't though and sewing is less enjoyable when I can't find the pin cushion. or the seam ripper. Solved the seam ripper problem by using circles of stick on Velcro and now attach it to the side of my machine. The same for my small 6" ruler attached to the front. The only hitch is how many times I forget to put it back in those spots when I am finished using them..
