Yeah, everybody seems to think that but if it was actually 100% cotton you wouldn't be able to quilt it 10 inches apart. The poly scrim is why you can quilt it that far apart. You have to read the fine print on the label.

I use Hobbs Thermore poly batting for wallhangings & table runners. It won't beard. It doesn't shrink when washed because it is poly. It drapes beautifully and stays that way. Hand quilts like a dream if you would want to do that.
I really like it for baby quilts too. |
