Thank you everyone :D . I do my quilting on my dining room table and use chairs to lay what hangs down. Cord is out of the way and I even used a little endust on a paper towel to wipe it down.
I think because I have not tried to quilt such a large one on this machine before that maybe I'm just not used to it? I quilted 3 baby quilts last week and didn't have any problems. :roll One more question... to loosen the presser foot pressure, do I move it down or up? I can't find it in the book which is which. Thanks! :-D |
Pressure foot tension--- :D righty tighty...lefty loosey :D

does the wax leave a residual on the bed ?? I would be afraid the wax would stain the quilt !
I am sure it does not.......because if it did you would not do that wax..... |

I have only done 2 baby quilts on my Juki TL98QE, no extension table. I make twin to queen size and I have no trouble quilting on it. The center is a little tough but, I do it. I wear gloves with rubber nubs, Loosen the pressure, turn it to the top, Use darning foot, turn stitch length to zero, and turn tension to 1 if using nylon thread, if using regular thread, turn it to 2. I have to keep making sure the quilt doesn't get hung up on anything. This prevents drag.
