I promise not to share your age (he, he) but with the few thousand on our board. I am 44. You are? |

I am 64. I began quilting at about age 60.
Mom started teaching me how to use her old Singer when I was 5 - doll clothes back then. I have been sewing, doing embroidery, knitting, cross stitching, crewel, needlepoint ever since. I was tatting at age 7 - doing "old lady work" when a neighbor taught me. |
38 :) Diabetic as well... :)

68--I can't believe I'm this old :). Actually it's harder to believe that my "baby" is 45. Her older sister who is 47 is the one that started me quilting.

I'm 45....started quilting when I was 39. My daughter is 13.....she started quilting when she was 9. 8-)

Old is always at least 25 years down the road from where I am, which currently is 63. But I've been quilting a bit since my 20's. It's just that we tend to have more time for hobbies after empty nest and retirement.

Turning 37 next month.

I'm 63,started quilting in 1995. It took awhile 30-plus yrs to realize that Butthead is part of a man's genetic make-up Tinker
