Late bloomer here---I was 61 in February and only started quilting about 5 years ago.

i am soon to be 45, DD just turned 13 and is starting to quilt & owns her own sewing machine, and DS designed/made his first quilt at 7-8 (designed when 7, was finished a year later)... age is just a number, its your soul that determines how old or young you really are ;)

We also crochet ... the kids can knit, but not me... and scrapbook...l and paint... and are musical... you know, all that "old lady stuff" LOL ~ I am prementalpause-al so I can help straighten him out, too :twisted:

I dont know how Im suppose to feel but I do feel young,I dont look my age so Im always told.

Hi I was two weeks short of 29-th birthday, when I gave birth to my first baby.Started quilting after that, well now I'm three weeks short of being 65. It a great day every time I can start a new Qt, and visit freinds. Theresse

I'll be 73 this June, but from now on, I'm go to start counting backward, as I have so many UFO's and want-to-do projects, that I've got to get me a few extra years somehow. :-D
