61 and quilting since 28! What's AGE got to do with it? We are all better when communicating across a diverse group of individuals! Race, age, sex, nationality, etc. Your hubby is behind the times! Perhaps he needs a cross- cultural hobby!

I'll be 60 in June, been sewing since I was around 10 and quilting for around 15 years

I'll be 70 in June, but isn't that the new 50? I know a lot of teenagers who show their quilts for 4-H and they do a beautiful job. So I think age is irrelavant for quilting!

My niece, 7, and her brother, 8, each made their first quilts with me this week. I'm 61.

Average age of quilters in my home today is 25.

Good for you. baking and cooking from scratch is the best!
Taking care of grandchildren is really great fun. I do some of that too.

I'm obviously one of his 'old ladies' I'm 72. But call me old and he'll have more than his sugar out of whack!
