Maybe check with Paypal to see what they recommend, or maybe add something to the Paypal invoice stating something to the effect that the machine must be returned professionally packed and shipped at the buyer's expense before a refund will be considered...

The buyer I bought mine from actually gave me a two yr warranty and I ended up using it but I think he owned a company so it was more cost efficient to him, if it didn't work he could fix it. Do a disclaimer; there are alot who give a 7 day return policy and others that sells as is. Make sure this is established up front when posting the ad though.

Thanks a lot for your replies. I'm still uncertain as to how I will proceed. I will definitely check out the escrow option.

Quilters are some of the nicest people I've ever met - I'm just afraid to find that one bad apple.

Thanks again.
