Just use these pieces in a quilt, not the original fabric that you pulled the colors from. If they all look good together in that fabric, they will all look good together in a quilt too :D:D:D

This is a great idea! What do you think is most important, a variety of tone values or the use of different sized prints? Or must it be a combination of both?

This book on color is my favorite! I refer to it frequently. With practice, you will become more comfortable putting different color and pattern combinations together. Have fun with it!
