Help fellow quilters! I've gone and one it now.
A few weeks ago I contacted our Support your Troops site asking if they would be interested in quilts for soldiers. They replied they'd love quilts to go to Germany for wounded soldiers - they need cheering the most - and please make them colourful. Well a neighbour's son just became Canada's 142nd casulty in Afghanistan - so I have an added impetus to get busy and make some. Wish I could be making one for him. Instead I'll be making them in his memory. I thought I'm make some scrappy bargello and tube quilts - anything fast and fun. Are there any other patterns or ideas out there? I will doing quilt as you go. |
