I had it on my DVR and somehow it got deleted... my question is does anyone know where i can find the intructions for the specific design of crib quilt she was making? this was from approx. 2 weeks ago on saturday morning. Thank you any info would be so great. she started with 8 rows and then sewed 1 and 2 together , 3 and 4 together, 5 and 6 together, 7 and 8 together and then she made them into rings and then snipped the first ring off at the seam, and then she cut the next ring but at the second square in half and then when she laid it down on the table she continued cutting the remaining rings at the next square and then moved it another half of square and laid it out and so on and so on... ( i hope this makes sense and someone can help me figure out what this pattern is called and where i can find the exact measurements and instructions). thanks for your help p.s. i am still very new to quilting so I can't use the correct lingo yet.. lol thx again for any help |

I get her show on Wed. afternoon's at 2:30 on RFD channel. Most of the time I don't have my TV on all day so I usually miss it :( However, last Wed. I remembered and she was making log cabin blocks. Love how she makes it easy for anyone to quilt :)) I love watching her videos on her web, too.
Hope you found what you were looking for :) |

I loved how she did it. After her show, I just had to make a sample. It was such fun. I have no idea what I am going to do with the piece I made, but I am going to experiment and do something. Don't need any crib sized, or lap sized, but I may tty a mini on this one.

I am wanting to do a king size quilt with this design...i noticed she said you would need 12 different fabrics or i thought i could just do the 6 fabrics like she did and do it 4 or 6 times to make a larger quilt.

I don't see why you couldn't use just six colors. It would just take a little longer unless you sew 6 strips twice, then make your tube. Either way, there is no right or wrong, it's just what you like. The test pattern I did, I used 6 colors, and it started around for the second time, and it looks great.
