Thank you for the link. I watched the 15 minute teaser and may get the DVD. Makes me even more appreciative to have my grandmother's and great-grandmother's quilts.
|
That was really neat. I'm going to see if any libraries around here have it!
|
Wonderful! I'd love to see the rest.

What a wonderful DVD. I just love first person stories and to have it about quilting it is just awesome! Thank you for sharing the link with us. :-)

Right before the 11 minute mark she's fiddling around with a hanging quilt and took off a triangle of fabric and put it back on. HOW DID SHE DO THAT????????
|
She had the fabric pieces on a felt covered design board. She talked about it in the video. I loved her hide a bed :D

What a neat website.
I decided to investigate further. Go to film subjects above the video. Then go to Aging. Then to Kathleen Ware Quiltmaker. It is a 30 min film about a woman who makes quilts to sell. Shows her making a Texas star quilt. You could spend years just watching all the videos on this site. Thanks so much. |
Excellent. I'm ordering the video today. Thanks for bring this to our attention.
