First off....it's a great color combo with the brights....it just screams for me to look at it.....I am sure once it is all sewn together and quilted, the "moving" will lessen

Beautiful Quilt , I love it!!!!

It is very striking and such vivid colors. Looks great.

Beautiful contrast! You might frame it first with a border of blue the same size as the blue strips in the quilt to anchor it a bit. Give it a try on your design board and see what that does for it.

I would have to put it under a bedspread.

My mother has this problem with things that are too busy. I am just finishing a quilt for her that only has two colors but I also used plain squares between the pieced squares. Maybe you could break it up with larger squares or plain sashing if it is too much to look at.

I think the quilt is lovely.

Yep, it makes me dizzy and is hard to look at, but pretty!

Love the pattern and two colors. Agree with azwendyg that a small border of the same blue would look good.

I was just thinking. How about not having it on point. It might not move as much

susie-susie-susie 01-16-2012 05:14 AM

It does seem to move, but it is really pretty. Maybe the borders will anchor it, also having it on a bed and looking at it at a different angle should make a difference.
