This quilt was amazing! I saw it at the Lancaster show. On one of the sites mentioned above, there is a link to her website and on the back of another picture, it tells how she does it, including the frame. Not something I'd ever have the patience to do but very interesting.

That is really innovative work! It was interesting to hear how she was inspired to both make this kind of quilt and why she chose the women she did for the quilt. There were several quilts that I saw on one of the websites that also were inspiring one being a map of the US with a maze superimposed over it and containing facts and figures about the US. As you went through the maze starting in Washington state and traveling across all the states then ending in Maine, there were questions to answer about the states/country. Answers were provided on the quilt. What a great educational tool for both kids and adults.
