Now there is finally a face to that quilt cop.

My Dh says maybe yours thought he was with Project Blue Book, but they disbanded that in the 60's (?). They were just looking in the wrong places. LOL Just yesterday DH and I discused a quilting design and he likes to pick out the backing flannel for the baby quilts I make for all the new 'family' babies.

When I first started quilting, I thought I had to finish a project before starting a new one...a friend set me straight and I am a much happier person, lol ;-)

When my oldest daughter (who also quilts) got married, I gave her new husband Popser's book so he'd learn the appropriate responses. I don't know if it's still in print but Popser does have a website where he has many of his articles: http://www.popser.com/

I count my lucky stars. My husband is very understanding since he has his woodworking. He knows he doesn't have a leg to stand on if he should happen to become the quilt police.

I would have gotten up and walked to the bedroom, picked up a pillow and given him a blanket, led him to the LR and put it on the couch or stair and told him that was where he was sleeping tonight. LOL

LOVE IT! LOL That is what I would have told my hubby as well.

Speaking of which the other week he was acting like a 9 year old stomping his feet saying he was leaving to which I responded "ok be the 9 year old your acting like right now and run away.... just make sure you don't call me for a ride home when you decide to return". Y'all should have seen his facial expression....total shock....I think his brain couldn't digest what just happened. LOL

The upside, at least he pays attention to your interests. Now having said that, he MUST be made to understand the mind of a quilter before making remarks. lol

My DH tells me stuff like that just to hear my response so we'll both have a good laugh. :)

Good for you. I just had to remind mine of all the things he did not finish that he was going to get done while I was gone for a month. lol
