Ok, I hope y'all will get a laugh out of this. DH and my bedroom is large enough to accommodate our home office, so on most Saturday mornings when I get up before him, I spend my time looking at the quiltingboard pictures section. DH wakes up to me whispering: "ooooohhhh my", and "Wow", and "how did she do that", and "Well, now I'm intimidated". A lesser man would think I'm secretly looking at porn! He knows, though, that it's quilting porn, and it's a joke in our house now.

LOL, that describes it perfectly!! Me, I like food porn too!

That's so funny! My cats just look at me and wonder what's up.

My friend's husband sees the interior decorating mags and calls them "house porn".

Reminds me of what I told the receptionist at my dentist office. She asked what I was going to do the rest of the day when my appointment was over. I told her I was going to the adult toy store; she immediately dropped her head turned beet red and didn't know what to say. After a few seconds of letting her blush I told her I was referring to Home Depot.

my doggies sit at my feet and keep on asking....."and when are we going to get breakfast".....and I keep saying one more message.....just one more.....just one more.......after a while they just turn and walk away........

That's what my boys call it too....they tease me quite often "Seen any cool fabric lately Mum" etc. etc. etc.

My DH and I jokingly refer to the food network as "Fat Man's Porn Channel"....And since i respond the same to quilts and fabric...guess that is my Fiber Porn....

My neice and I used to walk through quilting stores touching all of the fabric saying "ooohhh look at this one, Oh this is so soft" ect.. The other ladies would just look and smile at her, she was about 9. She moved to Oregon a year ago and she's coming for a 9 day visit starting Monday...I am so excited to see her, she is 12 now.

Thanks ladies, after reading this post I realize my life is more exciting that I thought. LOL

I can talk all I want to because my husband can't hear.

Years ago our entire family got dental checkups and mine came out perfect. The helper at the dentist office told me I belonged to the "clean mouth club!" and I responded (with exagerated modesty) "Oh shit!" I thought she and my kids were all going to faint! DH roared with laughter. This wasn't language that we used in our family. LOL

Hah, we call it "quilt porn" too. And my DH looks at "music porn" and "photography porn". I came home from work one day to find our mailbox stuffed with music & photography catalogs...came inside and "whumped" the pile down on the coffee table and loudly announced, "Your mountain of porn is here!" only to find my husband's (very conservative) mother & grandmother had stopped by for a surprise visit!! That caused a good laugh, once they realized what I was actually talking about! I probably turned six shades of red though, LOL.

Since I am divorced and live alone I shock and tease my kids about all the porn sites I visit. Then I tell them it is fabric porn. Now I can add quilting porn! Thanks for the idea!
