I retreat for 2-4 days almost EVERY MONTH! A LQS that is about an hour away from my house is in an old nursing home. They have converted the back to a retreat center. $45 per night or $450 for unlimited yearly pass. Large and small work rooms are available with kitchen facilities. Have made friends from all over by going up there. Will miss them a lot when I move to Texas.

I wish there was a way as the Quilting Board group a retreat could be done in different states. It would be great to meet the members.

That sounds wonderful! I would definitely have the yearly pass.

The non-profit I am part of retreats twice a year at a Christian conference center. There is the option to retreat for 5 days or 3 or 4 days. All meals are included but there is a limit on coffee service. I believe the price is over $300 (more for a single room) and unless you live on that side of the water, there is a ferry ride involved (at least $30 one way). Beautiful setting on the water and a shopping center is not far from the conference center.

I went to one in late winter at a hotel with food, etc. It was about $400 for 3 nights, including great food, room, and sewing area. This was a sew your own project retreat. It was put on by my LQS and a mother daughter Longarm team. It was a lot of fun. I will probably go again next year.

I am going on another one at the end of Sept with my guild. It is 3 days, 2 nights, cost starts at $190 plus whatever classes you want to take and hotel is separate.

We have retreats thru our guild that are usually three days. Then a sewing group I belong to with six others have our own retreat in a retreat center in North Carolina. It has plenty of nice shops around it and the retreat center is a cozy house with four bedrooms and bathrooms. I can give you more info if tou pm me

I am jealous...I have not yet been able to attend a retreat yet but since we are now selling one of our retail shops I'm hopeful that I will have more time for quilting and an opportunity to go on a retreat.

Craft Camp, where are you? We want to know if you have some deals.

I am in the Billings Montana area and there are several retreats around here and the costs very, they are held in lodges , B&B's Motels and one quilt shop has a house for that purpose but they all run around 200.00 dollars for the weekend more if a class is held but anyone of them is a lot of fun and worth the get-away, then we also have lots of open sewing too that is in our quilt shops and churches and they are no charge so we can stay as busy as we want I enjoy any of them I can get to
