Great! Maybe I'll drool from here and then go wild while I am there! :-)

Meant to tell you that in the yellow pages the quilting places are under "patchwork and quilting" or "patchwork and quilters..."
|
Oh thanks, I never would have thought to loo.k there

Grandmother's garden is another beautiful shop I believe...close to Hamilton... maybe Gordonton... a friend is going to take me, soon I hope. There is another at Hamilton... she needs to look in the Hamilton yellow pages phone book... Hamilton is about an hour and a half south of Auckland...

Luckie you Nursie have fun
|
Here is another quilt shop... the crafty needle ltd., Manukau..... probably be able to google it to get address and phone number... it is new and worth going to.
|
Will do!
Thanks again! |
Nursie... I am sooo jealous.. my roommate has been to NZ a couple of times and we have a friend there he's visited. She came here a year or two ago and for a "bread and butter gift" ( do people even call it that any more?) she brought me some half yard cuts of fabric.. I have been cherishing them, and get them out and stroke them now and then.. haven't come up with an idea to use them yet. Yes, the patterns are different, but I love them all... have a wonderful trip and don't forget to move around to help prevent dvt's on that long flight.
|
Thanks Tippy for the advice. I plan on moving about as much as possible, may help me to forget I am flying....nah, I guess not!lol
I understand having special fabric and stroking it, i thought I was the only one that did that :D |
for nursie 76 - how did you get on in New Zealand... did you manage to do a big shop (fabrics)
