Actually, I did make it to a shop in Devonport (Cushla's) and when looking for some iron patches for my son-in-laws pants, I found a Bernina dealer in Mt. Eden that had some fabric. Got some beautiful fabric and met some great folks.

Quilter coming to New Zealand - Looking for shops!
 

Hi - I have a friend who will be travelling to NZ in early March 2012. She is looking for some of your gorgeous quilting fabrics (of course) and will be in Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington, Nelson, Queenstown, Christchurch. As she and her husband will be relying on walking, buses, etc. (except in Wellington where they will have a vehicle) could anyone suggest some great quilt shops that she might visit. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
