yeah, kinda what we're thinking. I think our last attempt to keep her would be to try the crate-thing again. Can't have her totally ruin our brand new house. Love her, but she just can't do that.

Awww, poor puppy. It's not being bad on purpose. Just use the crate and both you and the dog can be happy. A dog used to going into a crate learns a sense of security when inside. We have one in our living room we never lock or use anymore but if we take it out our one dog searches for it. He goes inside to sleep or get away from our big dog but it's not needed and he comes and goes as he pleases.

Actually, the last time tried to use a crate, she ended up blooding her nose really bad, flipped the thing completely over, and breaking the latch on the crate to escape and then trashed the house. This dog just ain't right.

Happy early birthday!! If I were you I would look at what I had, think of what I want and need that others have expressed as helping them on their way and buy those things. If you buy what you really need and what you really want and not overspend then maybe your D/H will take you again and again even if it is only once in a while. Also watch how much time you spend. I believe that most men do not want to continue to wait around as we do our thing if it is not a hobby that they equally share in.

OK, have to give a quick update. The birthday-day in Lancaster wasn't all. Last night DH surprised me with a party with friends & family (probably around 30 people or-so). Got lots of nice things, and lots of cash! In fact, a few people gave me $40 - one for each year I'm alive. ;) Turned out I got quite a nice stash. SO now I have spending money for another trip to the Old Country Store. I'm stoked. That was so sweet of my dear hubby, even though he knew I wasn't crazy about a surprise party we had a lot of fun. AND I got to go sleigh-riding, too. Don't really feel like I'm 40.
