So what is your favorite quilt top pattern?

Too many to list, but a few are New York Beauty, Snail Trail, Baltimore Album...

I just love Boxed Squares! It is so easy, can be done in different sized blocks, and is impressive when you use lots of colors.

Churn dash, baskets, and stars. I like the classic patterns

seeing basket blocks or quilts always makes me smile.
I've never made the same quilt twice, but if I did, I could probably be happy making Blooming Nine Patch the rest of my life.

I have more then one...all are the old fashion ones.....nine patch....log cabin....rail fence.... 4 patch.... and all scrappies.....

Drunkard's Path type done in batiks. Carpenter Star. I only do simple so can't list any of the gorgeous things like New York beauty or Lone Star.

I really like Disappearing Pinwheel pattern by Jinny Doan. I have made several of them and they look spectacular.

I just love them all. It is too hard to pick a favorite.

My favorite is a Sampler Quilt with each and every block different and a meaning for each block. My very best favorite, however, is Floating Stars (Quilter's Cache) - very simple, very easy, very beautiful (lots of fun). Optical Illusion to the max! Edie

I like patterns that make a secondary design when completed. It adds so much interest and wonder to the quilt.

I love the double Irish Chain, but my very favorite is the next one I'm going to do, right about the time I am binding the last one

I am afraid I could never choose just one out of the many i love.

This is such a good topic. I wasn't familiar with the blooming nine patch, and now I can't wait to try one!

I really enjoyed making this pattern called Rear Window by Blue Underground Studios. Figuring out the pairings of frames with rectangles and of the 4-patch block fabrics is my favorite sort of quilting activity.

Which is my favorite quilt top pattern, let me count the ways. LOL. I really like Jacob's Ladder and Contrary Wife (dare I say that's me sometimes?), the 8 pointed star, Dresden Plate, etc., etc., but I just made a Family Reunion Quilt, using the disappearing pinwheel block from MSQC and it was beautiful, all done in different shades of purple. I guess my favorite quilt top pattern would be the one I'm working on at the moment.

Mostly the traditional patterns. I am working on a DWR just now.

I like the www.villarosadesign.com postcard patterns. "Saratoga" is a favorite. It looks good with many fabrics(like the pattern calls for) or just 5 fabrics. The block has 5 pieces, mostly strip pieced; it makes up very quickly.

Of course my favorite is whichever one I'm currently working on. But I also really like D9P and Irish Chain. I can't wait to look up some of these you guys have mentioned that I've never heard of. Good thread!

Wow I love the French Roses quilt but it is out of print :( Even the one with a link that is supposed to look similar comes up not found. It doesn't look so hard though to make something similar.

Does anyone know how raw edge applique holds up? Can it be washed???

After many floral applique quilts, I just did a Disappearing 9 Patch to make a cover for the front of the fireplace. I may make another soon.

My favorite is "the one I just finished". LOL on to the next shiny object.
