I'm going to try this method of joining the blocks and rows. Eliminates having to iron 1/4" down in the sashing!

Fun and Done pattern by prairie sky quilting. Is an easy start. I recently found a book at Goodwill called Machine Quilting in Sections by Marti Mitchell. I am going to try it to put my Seasonal Silhouettes quilt together

No hand sewing or sashing requited. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pL36s08wg4

To my knowledge, Georgia Bonesteel was the first quilter to come up with the QAUG method of quilting, so any of her books would be great.

Thanks for the video tutorials. I purchased a number of sample quilt blocks from Longaberger some years ago and wanted to put them into a quilt. All I needed to know was the best way to attach them.

.....another project just landed on my toDo list.

I used a Youtube tutorial from "The Gourmet Quilter". It was the simplest I've seen and she is a good teacher. I make my quilts this way so I can quilt it one block at a time. It is a great way to learn free motion quilting--no bulk. Suzanne
