Quilters Amaze Me
 

I'm in constant awe and amazement over the beautiful work produced by quilters on this site. The help and encouragement they give to all, and not just about quilting either. And the good works they do, with their gifts and skills, for their communities at large. Thank you Quilters for sharing all with me. I so appreciate it.

Thank you for the compliment....Yes there are helpful informed quilters that show us all their beautiful quilts. I have been here since Feb and havelearned a lots and seen so much I want to do. Keep watching. Have fun. Hugs

Oh my goodness, you're so right. Friend of mine had a question about quilting and it had to do with measuring boarders. I told her to check out the quilting board and low and behold, just a short few minutes ago, I see another question about boarders. This board is like an encyclopedia for quilting.

You are right. I look here on a regular basis for information.

Yes the board is a wonderful resource and I love reading all the posts..It IS supportive and so many ideas for solutions to problems really unblock my mind from just a "certain" way of thinking. The people are wonderful here and I love it. Thank you all!

This is my go to place when stumped. Someone has usually had the same trouble at one time or another. Help is just a click or two away. :thumbup:

not only is this board a wonderful helpful place but I also say this is where my friends live so much help and inspiration here I thank each one of you have a wonderful weekend

Agree with all of the above....One other thing that is so good besides the "you can do it" and informational support is the shared sense of humor when things so wrong...

A picture paints a thousand words...so they say.

My first "read" when I turn on my computer to get my day started---wonderful news, ideas, and thoughts to get me going, and out of a funk, if I have managed to let one sneak in on me.....

In case you TN, IN, KY, and maybe WV and OH, ladies are looking for a fun thing to do the last weekend of the month, QSC Expos has a great looking "Paducah type thing" going for Aug 30-31 thru Sep 1 in Louisville, KY. I found it on line last week, and my sister and I were lucky enough to get tickets and a room at the Crowne Plaza; so we'll be there and joining a Gammill class on Sunday afternoon. Can't hardly wait.....

Not many of my friends quilt so sometimes I feel that I am by myself. Then............I turn on my computer and there you all are my quilting family. I have been sewing and quilting for more years than I like to count. I had my ways of doing things that got things done well for me, however after I came on the board and started trying some of the tips and new ways some of you did things I found the different ways made quilting much easier and better. I have learned a lot here. All of you here are so ready to help and support each other, it is such a wonderful place to be.

I absolutely agree with you. Quilters, I have found, are very generous people, with their time, their inspiration, their answers to questions and creating quilts for charity, special events, Quilts of Valor, etc., etc., and this Board has been a great source of inspiration and answers to questions. I've also found e-mail buddies on this site, who have become very special to me.

I agree with everyone. I have sewed all of my life but have found quilting to be a very different thing. I have learned sew much from all of the wonderful folks on QB. Thank you one and all!!!

I have learned more from the postings on this board than I would have just looking up stuff on the internet. Everyone is always so helpful too! Thank you everyone who shares your pictures, ideas, comments, and help.

same here...this board also taught me how to use my sewing machine...when I started I did not know how to sew, I have learnt so much here...and it also has kept me modivated...so nice to come here every day...
