Does anyone belong to this quilting guild? Tonight is my first night that I am going to attend and I just wanted to know what to expect.

Thanks :-)

That was freaky - just as I finished typing this a lady called me about the meeting tonight. Quilters minds must think alike

Have fun, you are going to love being in a guild, they really help to keep you motivated. I belong to 4! As well as being an officer on an annual retreat committee.

Suzi,
Where does this grp. meet?
I'm from the Bremerton side of Puget Sound but am still 35 miles from Brem. I really need to find a grp. now.

The meet in Edmonds a church off of 220th. The Edmonds/Kingston Ferry would be your best bet that way you don't have to drive I-5. Here is their website

Suzi, thanks for telling me. That's really far for me. I used to make that trip as a day out but won't be able to make it for a quilt grp. I'm so sorry about that. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice to hear from a voice in a familiar place. I grew up on Hood Canal on the North Shore (summers) about 4 miles east of Tahuya. It was the best time of my life. My boy, my brothers boy and my sisters boy own 150 ft on the North shore where we spent our summers. My brother who was my childhood best friend and I spent every summer with my gramma until she died, and he gave this property to them. It was given to him by my grandfather prior to 1970. It will always be in the family. You must be glad to see that beautiful place every day. We consider ourselves to have been the luckiest kids in Seattle growing up to have been able to spend our summers in Paradise. Lucky you!!! I also have relatives that live at Mission creek, I also lived in Allyn for about 6 years while I worked at Boeing. I am now in the Valley of the Sun in Surprise AZ and love it here but would give up this for a place on the canal!!!!!!!!! Don't you just love this board?, I do...............
