Just too cute!!! I only have one friend that would be interested, and DH already knows that it should all go to her.
Love it!
Funny little tid bit - My best friend, a wonderful person, who would and does anything for me, can't tell flannel from any other fabric, took a cell phone picture I sent her of a fabric I needed more yard of and went to her local Walmart 50 mins from her house and 1 1/2 hours from mine looking for fabric. She DOES NOT want any part of the bins of fabric, patterns, books or multiple sewing machines I have. lol! |
So very true!!
I love it. I have no friends that sew. DGD would get it all.
I have no friends so the dumpster would get it all.
If any thing happened to me my daughter may take some of it but most of it would go to a Chruch that also is a food shelf. They sew quilts out of the fabric and they give out the quilts for needy families during the holidays.
Cherrio - I'll be your friend, dumpster are not worthy!!!!
Ahem! You have friends online. Put me in your will and I'll host the wake.
P.S. I know you'd do the same for me. |
ah Liz and Red, this board cracks me up! thanks for the offer, you are too kind. I DO consider the folks here friends. gotta go shovel the drive. winter is dragging it's heels here
Thats great. I'll send it out to people I know and see how many I can get to put my name on the lines.
that is so cute
That is cute.
Heh, it's cute. Though I read it to DH and he's now offended because he says it's derogatory since he does appreciate my quilting :D :D
I laugh everytime I see this. As a joke I printed it off and completed the form. DH and I were going to the lawyer's to do our actual wills and I produced this sitting in the lawyer's office. The lawyer thought it was hilarious as his wife also quilts. DH didn't find it quite so amusing...I think he was alittle offended that I didn't include him in my Quilter's Will. Oh well, some of us have a warped sense of humour (LOL)!
way too funny...but I can't help but wonder what would happen to all my stuff....My oldest daughter hates the "pack rat" in me, so I doubt she'd want more than a shoe box full. My second daughter is super creative, but likes mostly fabrics with skulls and crossbones, which I don't have any of. My third daughter is a "pack rat" herself, but doesn't have any more room. My fourth daughter would rather climb a tree than sit at a sewing machine. And my fifth daughter...well now, there is still time to educate her in the fine art of keeping too much fabric....guess I better get busy!!!

I do believe that this should be published in every guild letter and members must fill one in.This is of great importance .Ilove my husband dearly but trusting him with my collection is another matter entirely.
Stop that! Ya know you have about 300 friends HERE!!

I have printed this out and plan to use it, legal or not. At least everyone will know how to distribute it!!! Thanks for sharing this with us.

This gave me a good laugh, as well as the original post.......what a hoot. I could just see my husband!

I too, have no friends that sew, and my DDIL already told my DGD that she IS NOT allowed to take my stash, so mine is all to be spread among you guys (my bestest friends ever).
I copied and pasted it to Word and I justified the margins! This is a great piece of paper to have! LOL My DH would give it all to my granddaughter and she doesn't even sew, but I am hoping to teach her someday, for I am saving an old Sears Kenmore machine with cams for her when she leaves her nest with her mother's style. If I gave it to her now, her mom would get rid of it, I'm sure! So I have to save it for her!
My one sister, who is very close to me, is whom I would want to give everything to! She's learning quilting, but she has always done sewing, knitting, and crochet! |
Cute...and necessary!!
LOL
I had to send it on!!

I just printed one for my sister-in-law, she's the one who got me started quilting. She's the one who lives closest to me and would truly appreciate my quilting stash! LOL   ;-)

One of the quilting woman I know works for a lawyer, ours are real she said don't sign till you are sure you have decided what your plans are.

I love it. Need to make a copy for my bf who talked me into quilting. Don't know which one of us has more though. But you all know that the quilter who dies with the most wins!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the link! My DH knows to ask the girls, but I am starting to also put projects in boxes with the name of someone on it. Then he will contact the individual to give the box to them, if he is left with the dilema of cleaning up after me.
