My grandmother marked quilts in the fan pattern using a pencil and a string. This brings back memories.

I love the Baptist Fan quilt design, looks great on so many quilts!

I've been thinking about doing a quilt with the Baptist fan quilting. It's funny that every time I need help I don't have to ask, it's right here on the board already!

This is one of my favorite quilting designs too.....my Grandmother used it to. We use our Circle Lord boards to do the fans now...I love it on log cabin quilts.
