Quilting on domestic machine groups
I would like to join a group that is for quilting on our domestic machines. I have a Janome Horizon 8200, but will not be accepted into the group because I don't have one of the machines they cater to. Does anyone know of any groups that would be of any help? Would love to know.

What kind of group are you talking about? A group where people meet face-to-face, or an online group?
there is a Facebook group for FMQ on domestic machines. It can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/FMQ.on.Dom/ and of course ... many of us here on QB quilt on domestics. |
I would like an on line group.

Yahoo has a group for the Janome 7700 and 8900 -- folks talk about all sorts of things. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/...7700_8900/info

I just recently purchased the Janome Horizon 8200, it would be nice to find a group. I am just beginning to learn free motion, I guess teaching myself, through Youtube. I really like mt 8200.

If they're that particular nay be you don't want to be part of that group. JMHO

You could always start your own online group, Yahoo is free....

I just got Horizon, also. I have done a lot of fmq on a brother but want to do more than stippling. Have watch a lot of u-tube and have learned a lot. I think we could learn from a group where we could connect to others. Like this group. This group gives out a lot of info. And yes, it is a shame that the Janome group excludes most of their machines in the group.
