Quilting with Embroidery Machine?
Does anyone quilt with their embroidery machine? I have tons of designs, but I've never used them. They either seem too busy or the quilt blocks are too large for my 5x7 machine. Maybe I should just forget about it, but I don't want to.

I would think it would take forever. Maybe try it on a block and see how you feel about the outcome.

I have, but it did take a long time, all that hooping and hooping.......

This is my king size quilt that won 1st place at my local guild show and was accepted in an exhibit at the Houston Festival last year. Except for the stabilizing it was completely quilted by my embroidery machine. I used some purchased digital designs and some custom designs I created in EQStitch to quilt it. I didn't use an all over design.

Sheri... I can see why you won first place! Do you have a close up of the quikting?

Sheri... Thank you! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I embroider alot, but haven't tackled this. I need a class lol!

I have done it. As others said, it does take a lot of time but the biggest struggle for me was keeping the weight of the quilt from pulling. I used a design from Emblibrary.

Beautiful work. I'm doing a table runner now with a Celtic design. Not sure I love it, but will post pix when it's done.
