Seam Fix

seam ripper on one end. Rubber "honey dipper" on the other end. Use this end to grip/pull the cut threads fom the fabric.

She is not looking for a seam ripper. I have the Soft Touch and I had trouble using it, I mad a tiny hole in my quilt from trying to get the thread out. So practice using it before using on your quilt. It's the same size as the hook that came in the hair streaking kits my DD used when she was in High School.

I bought a tiny crochet hook and it was only a couple dollars. Works great for getting threads out of the layers.

I just pull out any threads I can grasp and cut them.

When the thread is underneath the quilt top and showing through like a shadow you can't just reach and pull it without getting between the top and the batting somehow.
